|Hint of work...

Five days starting Thursday.
Arranged this evening.
i think it's good that you're going to have something to keep you busy for a little while - besides, of course, having that little bit more income.
in the meantime, have a cup of tea. and you know you can always email me.
I'll have a gulp of Cola and do as the doc told me this evening.
"Take it easy on the Valium"...
if i had a doctor who gave out Valium, we could both stand to take it easy...
He suggested "it's possible to make better decisions if one is awake".
I'm not sure if the job will last five days. It might continue into Monday and Tuesday next week. It's working in the Finance Department of a local council just a few doors away from Jenny who used to run Paragon Bulletin Board that I used for years.
I phone Jenny once in a blue moon and she tends to shout down the ear piece. Last evening I knocked on her door and she made me a cup of coffee and spent an hour or so talking about "this and that" including mum.
I offered to re-tune her digital TV to get a few new stations that are available. She clutched the remote control close to her chest. "If it ain't broke don't fix it. I'll ask Michael about it". It's completely automatic. Just press "scan available channels" but it seems she had some problems with the unit and is reliant on "experts" to tune it, despite the fact it tunes itself.
There was a massive disruption of the rail system yesterday and it took hours to get home.
"Mum will be cremated at Wilford Hill Crematorium, West Bridgford, Nottingham, on Wednesday 11th February, 2004 at 2:20pm." (UK time).
