I just called Trevor using in Cornwall using the Lebara mobile SIM card purchased in Parramatta yesterday (see yesterday's entry). I spoke for just over 12 minutes and it cost $1.32 ( 9 cents per minute plus 15 cents connection fee). Like the gentleman in the YouTube video below I get very confused with "Cap" plans and bundled cellular phones.
I'll admit I prefer straightforward plans I understand. I have never understood the "Cap" plan concept which is one of the reasons I haven't recharged my "3" mobile.
Call quality was excellent using a Lebara SIM. BTW It's 39 cents to call a UK cellular phone rather than a land line (9 cents) but if I called the United States it's 9 cents per minute whether it be cellular phone or land line that's being called.
