I had a session with my "personal advisor" at Centrelink today. This went quite well.
I also had an interview with a local job network member. As a result from January 5th. I'm required to attend their offices from 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Wednesday and perform my job seeking efforts under their supervision.
They will provide stationery, envelopes, postage, Internet Access, newspapers and advice from "case agents" and if I'm invited for interviews they will reimburse the cost of attending such interviews.
I'm also told they are contemplating "market reverse engineering" whatever that might be and if and when this happens I'll be reverse engineered (hmmmm...)
I'm also told that if I'm accepted into a "Master of Commerce" degree program (something I've applied to do) they may be able to assist with the cost of any study I undertake. I have doubts about this as I've filled in the bare bones of a "PELS" form - something similar to HECS.
