Yesterday 3rd. January 2009 I allowed the chemicals and assorted odds and ends that comprise the being that is me to rest (sleep). Sometime around 7 pm the waking mechanism in my being forced me to wake and I discovered my dreaming culminated in an aircraft landing in some confusion just outside Bordeaux Airport.
There's quite a bit to dwell upon as in just over 2 months I reach the second age of maturity.
The first age of maturity was 21 which was a considerable number of years ago.
Anyway I woke long enough to trace Bordeaux via Wikipedia and flagged it as worthy of investigation. Obviously the name is stored in my brain cells or it wouldn't feature in a dream. I have been speculating that it may have arisen from a visit to the Art Gallery of New South Wales to view the paintings of the artist Claude Monet but can't see any immediate direct connection between Monet and Bordeaux.
Confused dreams involving aircraft have not been uncommon in the past - although I don't knowingly dream a great deal these days.
