There's no change in my aortic condition since April 17 2008 so it's back to 6 monthly checkups.
We did get to discuss the doc's attendance the Art Gallery of New South Wales last Thursday. We discussed Monet and David Marr. It seems the doc was there for both Monet and also for the talk by David Marr whom he holds in high regard.
We briefly discussed the topic of David Marr's talk "A Matter of Taste" with the doc stating that he believed David Marr broke down and cried over the affair.
I'm pleased to report that the trapped occupants in the Werrington Railway Station elevator are free.
I'm attending an (accidental) Company Secretary course tomorrow morning and Acer Computer have promised that the "spare part" (the motherboard) they ordered at the beginning of the month is expected to arrive this Thursday and will be delivered to technician (in Richmond) ASAP. If they manage to achieve that deadline and if the "spare part" they have promised to deliver actually fixes the problem it will be something of a miracle as the machine has been out of service since Friday September 13th.
The Company of which I am the director has acquired a replacement which appears to be fully functional BUT is running Windows Vista Business - which takes a bit of getting used to.
I mentioned some magic words to Acer :- The Trade Practices Act 1974.
I'm not certain that these words can invoke magical cures but I figure it's worth a try.
