I had a phone call from my NEIS painter friend this afternoon. He's overjoyed that some legal issues that arose while doing the NEIS course have been resolved and that he is now seemingly free of them. I've offered to shout him a drink in Werrington pub at some unspecified time in the future.
I also had a reply from The Hon Brendan O'Connor MHR (Minister for Employment Participation) regarding the status of the NEIS scheme from the 1st. July 2009. I lobbied the government on this issue at the behest of my NEIS service provider in June. I have sent them a copy of his reply which thanks me for my observations. I believe the government have had a rethink on this.
I'm on a course regrading "Rolling Forecasts" all day tomorrow and may attend the evening session of the NIA Nepean User Group at Penrith RSL later in the evening. If I do I might see if they are still censoring YouTube.
