I believe it's Saturday..

I rose at noon after dealing with idiots in Usenet, replied to Kent Paul Dolan, had a cheeseburger for foursies and nipped down to Werrington pub for a schooner of VB (Victoria Bitter) $2.20 a schooner.

I've listened to my cheap Clifford Brown CD several times. His non muted trumpet playing is excellent, although some of the ensembles are less than pleasing to the ear (Bebop/West Coast jazz fusion).

It's always a pleasure to hear "Lover Man" (made famous by Charlie Parker and possibly for the wrong reasons). Clifford plays muted on that but it suits the tune.
