I haven't done a thing on Momentum Oscillators but as the exam is still two weeks away I may start either tomorrow or next week (after the date the Assignment results are released).|
I've spent time setting up the HP Windows Media Centre machine running Vista Home Premium. This has an inbuilt digital TV receiver and all the gadgets to run it - such as a Windows remote control. Although the Operating System comes as an image on a hard drive it isn't installed and a user has to agree to all the terms etc. make their own backup of the operating system image on DVD) - tune the tuner (which has two possible states analog or digital) - etc. etc.. I'm quite pleased with it. It will become a multimedia machine only. It's easier to set up recordings than most digital DVD recorders and then burn the saved recordings to DVD (if that's something a user wishes to do).
It took quite a while to fine tune it and I discovered that Nero 6 is incompatible with Vista so had to upgrade to Version 7 of Nero which is "Vista Certified". Vista didn't like Nero 6 at all and instead of installing it it simply said "incompatible version" and deleted the installation (or at least there's no sign of a Nero 6 installation to delete). As I have a Version 6 Nero serial number the update to 7 was "cheap" (although nothing is "cheap" on zero income).
I spent some two hours on Skype with Trevor at the weekend and thank Trevor for the birthday card received today.
There's a state election being held this Saturday. Sunday is my birthday. Monday is the date FINSIA release my assignment results (hum...)
There was another suggestion of a contract yesterday. I told them they've already seen my resume via another agency but they are submitting it anyway.
