Ban Bali (Link)...
Bali is a very popular tourist destination for (younger) Australians. The allegation is that the 4.1 kg of marijuana was placed in her bag by persons unknown.
She has been sentenced to 20 years imprisonment.
If she appeals and fails she faces a possible death sentence.
If she asks for clemency at a political level this is regarded as an admission of guilt.
Knowing how airlines stuff up baggage handling I can understand the situation.
This is creating enormous outrage in Australia. I stand on the sidelines but report it here.
I have signed a contract. If I get up early tomorrow morning I will be earning money again.
