My previous posting made reference to the TV series "Doc Martin" which is set in the fictional town of Portwenn Cornwall.

The actual village is Port Isaac.

Port Isaac (Cornish: Porthusek) is a fishing village in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. Its nearest town is Wadebridge, 10 miles away. Port Gaverne is a hamlet that is normally considered part of Port Isaac, despite having its own individual history.
