Facing the challenges of globalization and the knowledge economy, the Muslim world is lagging behind in many aspects of human development. The best way for Muslims to regain their lost glory is by equipping themselves with the right knowledge, skills and values.
In the spirit of revitalizing teacher education in the Muslim World, and in conjunction with IIUM's silver jubilee celebration, the Institute of Education will be hosting an international conference on the above theme. The conference will be held for three days from July 14-16, 2008 in Kuala Lumpur and will be co-hosted by the Islamic Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO).
