It's been a tiring week and I haven't done very much.
I have enrolled in the Professional Orientation Program of the NIA (National Institute of Accountants) next Tuesday and Wednesday. Completion of the program is mandatory for a member entitled to enter Public Practice to obtain a Public Practice Certificate.
I also have a form from the NEIS (New Enterprise Initiative Scheme) Penrith regarding possible registration in their program (which involves free enrollment in a Certificate IV in Business Management) and which encourages people contemplating operating a new business to receive an amount equal to the New Start Allowance (plus any earnings from a new business enterprise). They start new classes in the Certificate IV every 8 weeks and the next program starts in early January. It's necessary to be receiving a government benefit and to have a feasible business idea to be considered.
I have told Don of Den that I won't be at the Tuesday DEN session but he didn't seem unduly concerned.
"In your case I don't believe it matters" was his only comment but I will remind him on Monday afternoon.
A person at DEN has told me where I can (possibly) photograph kangaroos.
