From Trevor (3 cheers for Wicca Princess) acelightning

(in reply to comments made and passed on to Trevor in respect of an earlier posting)

Hello BobB. I'm passing on your addresses to Margaret again as she wants them - she will certainly be interested in message from W.P. Has prob. come across Heinlien. Also interested in gender. Nienna, Alan's lodger for long time(in Bristol), devoted to him, is a Robert Hienlein fanatic and was always quoting him. The book is a familiar title to me but I don't recall having seen it in house. P'raps if Alan had it he gave it to Nienna.

I always felt I was a stranger here, and even stranger since Alan's passing.

I have seen the God in living things, tho' wot is God? Is it more than life? Probably. As the body shuts down the God emerges more. Logical. Love from Trevor.

(LJ is still malfunctioning; this is going to have to be in bite-size chunks again...)

Dear Trevor:

i'm only a Priestess, not a Princess (i'm far too old to be a princess!), but it's very sweet of you to say that.

Stranger In A Strange Land is one of the great science-fiction classics of all time, and has had a powerful spiritual effect on many people. (Heinlein himself reportedly found that very curious, but amusing.) Heinlein also wrote at least one story involving the relative fluidity of gender - I Will Fear No Evil, in which an old man's brain gets transplanted into the body of a young(ish) woman.

i see God/dess in everything, in all living things, in the stones and the sea and the wind, in the stars, and sometimes even in myself. if you'd like to converse with me directly, via email, just ask Bobb for my email address.

Blessed Be!

Thanks for the comments Ace. I spoke with Trevor for close to 2 hours on Saturday night through the Gizmo Project/LJ telephony link. Trevor emails via Jenny in Cornwall although Trevor also has an email account which he isn't comfortable with at the moment. I don't believe Trevor is conversant with how to use Alan's computer which isn't connected to the Internet so Trevor uses Jenny's computer to send emails (at Jenny's place I think).

I have passed on your comments via Jenny's email address so will await a reply. We discussed a number of things on Saturday evening. Charlie the cat is well.

I believe it was me who referred to you as a Wicca Princess. I have had to explain what Wicca is. I believe Trevor understands it's to do with communing with nature and goddesses.

Unlike people in the United States and seemingly Europe I'm having no problems with LiveJournal.

Bob

when you say you're "having no problems", i assume you're referring to the lingering technical difficulties that restrict comments and posts to some absurdly small number of characters (less than 600, including spaces)?

please do give Trevor my email address - and Jenny, too; i don't mind. glad to hear that Charlie the cat is doing well. thanks.

I have no lingering technical difficults that restrict comments and posts to some absurdly small number of characters (that I'm aware of).

I have an email from Trevor saying he'd like to be in contact with you and have this morning sent you part of email addressed to you together with Jenny's email address. I have likewise sent Trevor your email address.

Charlie the cat thrives while Trevor is around :-) Charlie is dependant on Trevor for the necessities and luxuries of life and the relief from annoyances such as the jealousies of less honoured cats.

i've received your email, and i'll reply to both you and Trevor sometime later - i've got a project that needs to be done by tomorrow, and coping with the recent LiveJournal uproar has made me fall seriously behind in getting it done. thanks for the communication assistance!
