"The Argument" - one way to "interpret" the bebop of Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie :-) ( 2 minutes ) (mime)

Dave Brubeck - Paul Desmond - "Take Five" - made it to the "top of the charts" as a single 45 rpm record in the United Kingdom in 1961 ! - originally part of an album "Time Out" ( 4 minutes )

The first video shows "one way" to listen to the bebop of Charlie Parker and reminds me of a comment once made in a jazz journal in the United Kingdom about how the listener didn't understand until he realised there were similarities between the music and his mother-in-law talking :-)

The second "Take Five" reminds me of a park bench on the Thames Embankment in London (opposite Big Ben). On the few occasions I have revisited London I have always made it an important ritual to spend at least 15 minutes in quiet solitude on the very same seat. Sometimes they say "when a man is tired of London he is tired of life". I think it's best not to confuse emotional weariness with the lack of vibes one may feel from a city from time to time. Every city has vibes !
