Yesterday I wrote:-

I had intended to stock up on food but within minutes of leaving Maccers I was drenched from head to toe. The rain and wet clothing left me indoors for the rest of the day. The weather is now a muggy mixture of cloud and rain (sigh) neither of which are pleasant.
